New American Funding today announces that Ellen Skaggs, Reverse National Production Manager, will be speaking on Friday, April 22 at the 2016 Kasem Cares Conference on Aging.

Skaggs will be speaking about reverse mortgages as a retirement tool and will hold a panel of seniors to further discuss this topic. The conference will address issues like aging, elder abuse awareness and prevention, and quality of life for older adults. There will be educational programs, exhibits and guest speakers.

“My passion is educating individuals about the benefits of a reverse mortgage. At the conference, I hope to teach the attendees about using a reverse mortgage to fund their retirement,” Skaggs said.

Skaggs is a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry and has closed more than 3800 loans over the last 31 years. She has originated a vast range of Reverse, FHA, VA and conventional loans to assist borrowers in reaching their financial dreams of homeownership. She was appointed Reverse National Production Manager at New American Funding in November 2015, and is expanding the division nationwide for the company.
