About Anna Wilson

I, {Anna McCaghren Wilson,} have lived in Hartselle, in the Neel Community, my entire life. I love our little part of the world and what North Alabama has to offer. I have been married to my husband, Paul Wilson, for 37 years. We have two children, Charleston and Dakota. They have blessed us with 4 critters, (aka) grandchildren and the 5th is on the way. We have two fur babys, Kash and Loretta. We enjoy spending time with our grandchildren. We love to watch them play ball, go swimming and we go boating with them often. Family time is our favorite time, it’s always in season.

I first stepped into the mortgage business in July 1983. I began my career as a receptionist and quickly realized the mortgage business was what I wanted to do. I became branch manager in 1986. I have enjoyed every aspect of this career path. I have held many positions since 1983, but my current position of Branch Manager, Loan Officer at New American Funding is my all-time favorite. I thoroughly enjoy helping people purchase their first home, their forever dream home, or refinance their current home. I cannot imagine a career more satisfying than this one. I love being on the front end of the loan process and working one on one with my clients. I stay involved in the process from the beginning to the end. I love the satisfaction of knowing I was a small part of helping someone realize the American Dream.

I pride myself in staying on top of the ever-changing industry. I am continually training on all the new laws, guidelines, and loan programs that are released to the market regularly. New American Funding provides the tools I need to always have the latest information at my fingertips. These resources help me to provide a seamless process for my clients. Because of my training I am well educated on all loan programs including FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional loans. I’m also well-resourced on the latest Renovation, Construction and niche products.
