Ryan

Ryan Shuster has been part of the New American Funding family for the last 4 years, where he works in secondary marketing as a Pricing Analyst. Prior to coming onboard with our family, Ryan previously worked in the mortgage industry and was very eager to get involved in other aspects of the industry. He was contacted by a recruiter about an open position with New American Funding and didn’t hesitate to apply.

In his free time, he enjoys working out, hiking, watching sports, eating good food and drinking good beer. When he’s not watching his favorite sport, which is football, he enjoys eating at his favorite restaurant called Zenko in Mission Viejo, a place for all-you-can-eat Sushi. He also loves travelling and looks forward to making it overseas one day. His favorite places to visit include DC, Seattle, and Newport, Rhode Island because they have so much history and culture.

One of his proudest accomplishments is interning in the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. during the summer of 2011. He had just turned 21, and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work for his congressman. During those ten weeks, he was tasked with handling Congressional correspondence, providing insight on various policies at hand, and giving tours of the U.S. Capitol building. It was an incredible experience that he will never forget.

“I’ve been at New American Funding for 4 years now, and have seen the company grow exponentially and continue to reach new milestones. That and the friendships I have formed here have made it a pretty awesome experience. Every day, New American Funding makes me feel like part of their family, not only in the secondary department but companywide. I continue to feel challenged in my current role and continue to search for and find new challenges every day. I would definitely recommend New American Funding to a friend or family member. We are an ever-growing company with plenty of career opportunities and flexibility. Not to mention great people! I enjoy coming to work every day to be able to work with my awesome co-workers.”
