New American Funding, a national mortgage lender, has appointed Cayce Macias to the position of Vice President, Community Lending. Cayce will employ her extensive public relations background in communications and corporate social responsibility to expand New American Funding’s outreach and advocacy efforts within underserved communities.

For nearly a decade Cayce has played a role in marketing and developing real estate related products and services. She served the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Orange County (NAHREP OC) Chapter as its Vice President of Public Relations from 2008-2011. A comfortable public speaker and community organizer, she has advocated for sustainable homeownership opportunities from her hometown of Orange, California to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Cayce is a former Director and founding member of the Mosaic Realty Network, a real estate organization known for attracting high caliber industry influencers as members, advisors and supporters, and a shared vision of success that embraces diversity and crosses cultural and lifestyle barriers.

Cayce earned a Master’s Degree in Strategic Public Relations from the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, D.C., exploring the public policy system and focusing on the advocacy role of corporations and associations nationally.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
