New American Funding today announces that their CEO and founder, Rick Arvielo, has been awarded the Schumacher-Bolduc Award from MORPAC, the Mortgage Bankers Association Political Action Committee.

Arvielo received the award at the MBA Annual Convention and Expo held in San Diego, California on October 18-21, 2015. He was recognized for his work on behalf of the organization’s political advocacy programs and the mortgage lending industry. He led an advocacy campaign at New American Funding that was broadcast to over 1800 employees. He also raised a record-setting amount of money with a company campaign and added 75 new enrollees to the Mortgage Action Alliance.

“Rick is one of the most dedicated MBA members when it comes to working on behalf of MORPAC and I can’t think of anyone who deserves this honor more," said MORPAC Chairman Jamie Korus.  "He has personally given time and resources, as well as that of his company's, to make certain MORPAC continues to break its fundraising goals.”

MORPAC is the voluntary, non-partisan Political Action Committee for the Mortgage Bankers Association. The PAC represents the interests of the real estate finance industry. The Schumacher-Bolduc Award is named after MORPAC’s founder Ernest P. Shumacher and Mark P. Bolduc, one of MORPAC’s Directors.
