New American Funding today announces their President, Patty Arvielo, will be recognized as an Orange County Hispanic Woman of the Year by The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) – Santa Ana LULAC Council #147.

Recipients of this award are chosen for their accomplishments in their fields as well as their involvements in and overall voluntary contributions to their communities. Recipients of the award also serve as positive role models for students.

“Few things make me feel more accomplished than contributing to the greater good of the Latino community. We’re a family, we lift each other up. I’m very proud of this recognition by LULAC,” commented Arvielo.

Patty was specifically recognized for not only co-founding New American Funding, but diligently growing it to the national mortgage lender and servicer that it is today, where over $900 million in home loans are funded each month. Patty continues to originate and close nearly $5 million in home loans each month on her own, all while managing operations and sales for New American Funding’s headquarters, branches and over 1800 employees.

Patty will be honored with seven other women at LULAC’s annual awards banquet on November 7, 2015. The event will honor and recognize these women while also fundraising for educational scholarships for Santa Ana students.
