Orange County Business Journal Recognizes Patty Arvielo in OC500 Most Influential Directory

Tustin, CA - New American Funding announced today that its President and Co-Founder Patty Arvielo has been selected by Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) to be listed in its debut issue of OC500, a book that highlights the 500 most influential people in the Orange County business community.

“Over the past 35 years, I’ve been dedicated to being a positive influence in the mortgage industry so I’m excited to be recognized on this inaugural list,” said Arvielo. “As a business owner who’s passionate about the work I do, it’s a pleasure to be acknowledged for my accomplishments.” Arvielo manages operations and sales for New American Funding’s headquarters, branches, and 2300 employees. She also impacts her local community through initiatives such as Latino Focus Committee, which she spearheads as an avenue to educate Hispanic consumers pursuing homeownership; and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, where she serves on the Executive Board

Arvielo has also committed to leveraging her passion for the mortgage industry and Latino Americans by serving on the Corporate Board of Governors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the Board of Directors for the Latino Donor Collaborative. She’s also a member of the affordable lending panels for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and sits on the MBA’s Consumer Affairs Advisory Council and Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Recently, Arvielo was recognized for her influence in the business world by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year for Orange County, as an Elite Woman in Mortgage by MPA, and as an Influential Lender by the LA Business Journal. She was also named the 2016 Business Award winner by LA Times Latinos de Hoy.
