New American Funding today announces that Fortune magazine has named New American Funding in their 50 Best Workplaces for Diversity 2015. New American Funding and the other companies on the list were chosen out of about 630 businesses across the nation.

This diversity ranking is determined from employees’ company reviews published in Fortune’s Great Places to Work and surveys given to women and minority employees at the 630 companies. In total, 128,000 women and more than 69,000 minority employees completed the detailed survey. The survey takes into account how well-represented women and minorities are within the workforce, management and executive positions, how positively they experience their workplace on an index of factors where women and minorities tend to have a less positive experience than their colleagues, and how favorably women’s and minorities’ experiences compare to the 139,000 men and 184,000 Caucasians also surveyed.

“As a first generation Latina, I am so pleased that my husband, Rick, and I were able to create an atmosphere of diversity and inclusiveness at New American Funding. Diversity is one of our keys to success and one of our top values. We are honored to be recognized for it,” said Patty Arvielo, President of New American Funding.

New American Funding is committed to promoting and preserving diversity not only in their community but also in the workplace. Almost half of New American Funding employees are minorities and over 50% are women.  The company strives to serve undeserved communities and that dedication is reflected internally.
