You have to verify their history. In the real estate industry, there is a program called Terradatum - or broker metrics - that tracks real estate professionals’ transactions and closings. In Denver, there are over 17,000 licensed Realtors. Out of that number, how many do you think closed two buyers a month, or helped two families a month buy or sell a home over the last year? Only 175, or 1% of all the Realtors in Denver. This means that there is a 99% chance that the person you’re working with is probably not the best option to handle the most important transaction of your life.
